The book of August is The Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. Please provide your own book and read before the program date. Snacks and a craft will be provided along with a book talk on the Orphan Train.

Come join us for tips for renovating your home lawn. Topics covered include: grass selection, seeding , weed control and fertilization.

Join us monthly for our 4-H LEGO club! Take part in a variety of building challenges each meeting and hone your creative engineering skills! Open to all Campbell County 4-H Youth ages 9-15.

Family time for preschooler (age 3-5) and caregiver. Older siblings are also welcome with prior notification. Flower Buds will meet for a story time; tours of educational gardens; an engaging activity for the child and caregiver to make together; and a light snack. Space is limited to 15 children plus 1 caregiver per child. Make sure to register each child for this class not the caregiver.

Join us after school to unwind with some simple art projects. Students are expected to attend at least 8 of the 10 sessions. Meeting dates are: September 8, 15, 22, 29- October 6, 20, 27- November 3, 10, 24. Register once and indicate which dates you plan to attend when prompted. Participants must be registered 4-H members, ages 9-15.

Come meet up with other 4-H youth and experience everything the modern board game world has to offer! Work on your communication skills, strategy, and problem solving as a group all while playing new games! Program open to all Campbell County 4-H Youth ages 9-15.

We will have a special guest for the September Entomology Club meeting, Carrie Driehaus from Queen City Pollinators! Carrie will be teaching us all about Monarch butterflies and migration.
