4-H Entomology Club - October
In-PersonLearn about the fascinating world of insects and create an insect collection for the state and county fairs! There are two collection options: digital (photography) or pinned specimens. Attendance at every meeting is important, but not required. We will be learning how to capture, identify, pin, and label insects for display. Year 1 Collection: 25-50 insects from 4 orders. Year 2 Collection: 50-100 insects from 8 orders (half of the previous year's collection may be reused). Year 3 Collection: 100-150 insects from 10 orders (half can be reused from previous year).
