4-H Entomology Club - May
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeLearn about the fascinating world of insects and create an insect collection for the state and county fairs! There are two collection options: digital (photography) or pinned specimens. Attendance at every meeting is important, but not required. We will be learning how to capture, identify, pin, and label insects for display.
4-H Tree Camp
- Campbell County Environmental Education CenterJoin us at the Environmental Education Center (near AJ Jolly) to learn all about trees, enjoy nature, and work on crafts and forestry fair entries! Participants must attend both days and bring a packed lunch. Dress for the outdoors and working with art supplies. Participants must be at least 9 years old and registered in 4-H.
Nature Hike

Join Aubree Dawson, Campbell County Environmental Education Assistant, for an interpretive hike of the trail to find out more about the plants and wildlife in this area.

Summer Cloverbuds Project Day
- Campbell County Cooperative Extension OfficeCome join Campbell County 4-H this summer for some summer fun! Participants will complete at least two projects, one to take home and one that will be displayed at the Alexandria Fair in the Exhibit Hall. Participants must be completing kindergarten-third grade this May in order to participate. Fun memorable, hands-on, learning experiences. For youth who will complete kindergarten-third grade in May 2024. Be sure to register for only one Cloverbud program each month. Both programs will offer the same activities.
